The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that has smart mapping and app-based no go zones. Its running time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also automatically refills and self-empties its water tank.
1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot
The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's smartest robot vacuum to date. Its most notable innovation, however, is its camera-based obstacle-detection system. It makes use of AI to recognize objects such as charging cables and shoes. It's the first robot to send you images of objects that it encounters, meaning you can instruct the robot to stay clear of it.
The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop that we have ever tested. It removes dirt and spills effortlessly and leaves no trace of it was there. It's easy to control through the iRobot Home app, which allows you to schedule cleaning times and create Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't vacuum areas you do not want it to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start it and stop it with a voice.
The design is also more appealing than the other models. It features an elegant, top piece that looks like toys rather than an obnoxious and loud robot. The Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System automatically empty which is great to speed up cleaning.
In our tests, we found that the j7+ quickly removed dust, dirt, and hair from pets. top robot vacuum -rotating rubber brush roll kept the debris in one spot rather than sending it scattering across the floor. It even could take small gravel and sand, which most other robots aren't able to do. And all this without getting tangled up in our pet's hair shed.
While it's not quite as smart as the Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum and can't clean stairs, the j7+ is still an excellent option for those who require both a vac and a mop in their home. It's not expensive, and the IRobot app makes it user-friendly to use.
Although the iRobot Home app is very easy to use however, we've found it to be less reliable than other apps that work with robotic cleaners. It can take a while to download updates, and often it's difficult to tell whether the update is functioning until you've seen it in action.

2. Roborock Q5+
If you're looking for a vacuum that does more than just clean floors, your best choice is probably one that is a hybrid. This category of bots typically comes with a built-in tank for water which means they can mop and vacuum your home at the same time. They also come with a variety of additional features, such as smart mapping, small obstacles avoidance, and the ability to wash and dry mopping pads. The disadvantage is that they can be expensive when purchased at full retail, but during Black Friday and Cyber Monday they are often reduced in price.
Roborock makes some of our favorite robotic vacuums and the Q5+ doesn't perform to the standards. This is the cheapest model in their auto-empty line. Although it doesn't come with some of the premium features (like no-go areas and multi-story memories), it's still an excellent choice when you're willing to make some compromises to save a few dollars.
The Q5+ is extremely soft when it comes to obstacles such as walls and table legs. This makes it an ideal choice for homes that have many furniture pieces. It's also very thorough in removing dust bunnies. This is a area where many robot vacuums that are less expensive fall short. The Q5+'s navigation is superb, with only a few mishaps along walls or in corners.
Like other Roborock devices like the Q5+, the Q5+ can be controlled with a handful of buttons on the device or through the Roborock app. Through the app, you can start and stop cleaning or schedules, establish virtual barriers and no-go zones, and alter your home map or change the labeling of rooms.
If you decide to go with the Q5+ model, it comes with a new auto-empty dock specifically designed to make this robot simple to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver however, once it's in place emptying the bin can be accomplished easily. It also comes with a large LCD display, which is nice to have when setting up schedules or adjusting settings. This isn't a necessity for the majority of people, but it's one that will assist you in keeping the track of the intervals between maintenance for your robot with ease.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a smart well-rounded mop and vacuum. It's capable of both mopping and vacuuming. Its design is one of the most innovative in the market however, it's costly.
It's a tiny base station that looks great and is easily hidden when not in use. But the station's main selling point is how it automates many tasks and functions that other robots will leave to you. It stores clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which most other robovacs require you to do) also emptying the dustbin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot charged and clean.
Its vacuuming capabilities are also impressive. It's the only robovac I've tested that does a good job picking up debris from bare floors. And it's not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.
However, the Freo X Ultra has its shortcomings, particularly in terms of navigation. Its laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs, meaning it can get stuck or confused in certain areas of your home. It's not able to climb stairs as well as competitors, either and it doesn't have a dock that lets the user to set up an exclusive cleaning zone for plush carpets.
Although it doesn't provide the same amount of cleaning-related options in its app or as many in-app shortcuts like other robovacs the Freo X Ultra is still a top choice for those looking for a comprehensive mop and vacuum cleaner that's worth the higher price cost.
But if you want to save some money or simply don't care about the limitations of this robot There are many alternatives available which include a variety of eufy models that cost significantly less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for instance is a bit more expensive, but offers many more features, like stairs and a fully-function Dock, with an improved overall experience when vacuuming on floors that are unfinished, low-pile carpets and even high-pile carpets.
4. eufy RoboVac G30
eufy is an Anker company with a long history of creating robot vacuums that offer the perfect combination of features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning on hard and carpeted floors, as well as mopping functions at an affordable price. It's easy to set it up, just connect one of the side brushes, turn it on and connect the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. You'll need to place the dock close to an electrical outlet and enough space for it to move, however.
The G30 is a compact device that measures 2.85 inches in height, so it can be tucked away under couches and low-clearance pieces of furniture. Its design is more subtle in comparison to other models. It has a sleek black finish and three buttons that are physical for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs a spot in a spiral fashion over two minutes) Recharge, and Spot Cleaner. You can also link the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to do unscheduled cleaning with voice commands.
The way the G30 cleans is what differentiates it from its competitors. It uses a built-in mapping to create an image of the immovable objects it encounters while retaining what it's cleaned and the areas it's not able to access. It then returns to the base to recharge, and then begins cleaning where it left off.
The eufy G30 has some flaws. The iRobot Roomba is more durable and has lower monthly costs. It charges faster, offers a similar battery life, and is more effective on bare carpet or floors with low pile. It comes with a larger dust bin that doesn't require as much emptying. It also has border strips that block it from certain areas. The G30 is more affordable and simpler to maintain. Its smaller dust container doesn't require as frequent emptying and it struggles less with bulky materials like cereal.
